Proposal	to be checked 1. Limes x 4 adjacent to the Carillon. Two of these limes have evidence for bark bleeding and minor crown dieback, and are slowly deteriorating. Deadwood is present within all specimens. Proposal - high pollard of all limes to help retain them as long as possible. Manage on a 5 to 7 year pollarding cycle. 2. Alder x 1 adjacent to toilets. This small specimen has been suffering for some time. It now has major crown dieback and extensive rot at the base. Proposal - 25% reduction. 3. Indian chestnut x 1 near the depot. Young specimen, possible memorial planting. It has major crown dieback, bark loss on stem and bark bleeding. Proposal - fell. 4. Lime x 1 near Granby Street entrance. Mature lime which I have been monitoring for a few years now. The tree now has extensive bark bleeding and minor crown dieback.
